The Zone
A lot of companies make a big deal out of methodology. We believe relationships are built on open communication, understanding, and most importantly, trust. The key to a successful business relationship is finding what we like to call the zone. To be in the zone each party must have clear deliverables, correct information, clear expectations, timely feedback, and sensible reporting.

If you go too fast and "knee jerk react" to everything instead of using proper planning, your email campaign will most likely be ineffective. However, if you move too slow and "document to death" every detail, you lose the power of fresh and timely information. In each case, you probably end up no better or worse off than when you began. The zone isn't complicated, it's just a fancy way of referring to using common sense.
